Transport and climate accounting

CO₂ emissions from trucks and passenger cars weigh heavily in the total CO₂ emissions in Denmark.

But transport around Denmark is necessary. So how can we each help reduce emissions and at the same time positively affect the workplace's climate accounts?
We would like to give a few suggestions on this.

Carpooling

We know it can be difficult in relation to private agreements, but nevertheless, as far as possible, we encourage carpooling.

We have parking spaces along the beautiful avenue up to the courtyard. And the parking is free, - of course.
For the electric cars, we have 8 charging stations from Clever.

If you want tips on how to optimize your fuel consumption, there are several good tips on the internet.
3 quick tips are (1) don't drive too fast, (2) maintain proper tire pressure and (3) save on the use of air conditioning.

Public transport

Let's face it right away... Public transport to our beautiful natural gem is not so easy.

With good will and plenty of time, you can use the regional bus from Middelfart and Odense to Assens, and from there take the local bus towards Helnæs.

If your guests take the train to, for example. Odense, shared transport from Odense Station to our hotel can be arranged – a flexible and affordable solution, adapted to the size of your meeting or conference.

By choosing shared transport, you make it easier for your participants to relax from the start of the trip and at the same time you contribute to a greener solution, as one bus reduces CO₂ emissions compared to individual trips.
