You have put your comfort in our hands when you are with us, and we take that responsibility very seriously. Lunch and catering matter when you are at a conference out of the house, and the food is an important part of the overall impression when the day is to be evaluated.
We will be happy to take on that part of the task, and our kitchen offers the best that the Little Belt, Funen and the Triangle Region can deliver. We work with local – and primarily organic – ingredients, and this means that we always have the taste of Central Denmark on the menu. We use the ingredients that are in season, and we are active in the fight against food waste. It cannot be otherwise.
It only makes sense that we have the Organic Food Label in silver when we strive to run hotels on naturens præmisser. Organic farming helps to ensure a good and clean nature, but according to the Danish Organic Association, it also helps to ensure organic animals have plenty of space and can move around freely, and they must have plenty of roughage that is good for their stomachs and well-being.
It is catering with attitude.
Fortunately, Middelfart is not a bad starting point at all if you want to buy local ingredients, because we have some of the country's best suppliers, who all have a sharp focus on quality and animal welfare, on our doorstep. We get our chickens from Hopballe near Vejle, our cheeses are from Elmegården in Sommersted, and our gourmet pigs come from Svendborg. Fortunately, we could go on like this.
