About the restaurant
Along the banks of the Mølleåen river, right between Furesø and Bagsværd Lake, lies Frederiksdal Sinatur Hotel & Konference. The bright rooms invite you inside to both nature and taste experiences at the restaurant that go beyond the ordinary. Here, the tone is set by the passing life of the river and the natural touch of the seasons. Then it's just a matter of boarding the menu, where the surrounding nature has taken control.

Our menus are built around the fantastic ingredients of the season and the region
This means that we continuously adapt the crispy dishes to the selection in the forest, the river and at our local suppliers. Therefore, you are always welcome to contact us before your visit if you want to know more about what we have on the menu during your stay. We also take into account your allergens and special dietary habits. Among other things, we always have exquisite vegetarian and vegan dishes in our menu and on the buffet, if we set one up.
At Frederiksdal's restaurant, you also have the opportunity to eat out in the open air if you want to get closer to the nature that reigns on the restaurant's plates. We are happy to make room for you on the sun terrace or down by the riverbank.

At Hotel Frederiksdal, the warm-hearted staff is ready to welcome you and your guests to equally warm surroundings and delicious Danish food made from scratch.
At the same time, Hotel Frederiksdal is not far from either Lyngby or Virum, which makes it both easy and convenient to invite guests from near and far. The rare cocktail of urban convenience and indulgent nature experiences can only be found at Hotel Frederiksdal. Bring the guests – and we will take care of the party.

This is your guarantee that the ingredients are fresh, local, in season and preferably organic. We are proud to have Det Økologiske Spisemærke i sølv, and we maintain this by having a razor-sharp focus on sustainability in everything we do. Therefore, we prefer to avoid food waste and the import of exotic ingredients. By first and foremost buying locally and Danish, we adapt the menu to the seasons - which always provides fresh ingredients of the highest quality.
We have an in-depth knowledge of our suppliers and their products, and we try to translate this into experiences on the plate – whether you are a hotel guest, course participant or party participant at Hotel Frederiksdal.
In the restaurant at Frederiksdal, the menu always reflects the changing seasons. We source the best ingredients from the area's farms and shops. This means that we actually find world-class food in our Danish area.
Out in the garden, we have our own beehives, which our local beekeepers from Lyngby, Martin and Ida, help to sling for honey. We use it to make our own syrup, bake sweet cakes and spice up refreshing drinks, among other things.
We get the finest meat from the small, Funen slaughterhouse, Grambogård, on Central Funen, which is based on animal welfare. Grambogård has respect, consideration and love for their animals, which means: No rush, but rather craftsmanship. This is reflected all the way from the birth of the animals and the choice of feed to slaughter and careful handling of meat, maturation and carving.
When life is to be celebrated and you feel like a cold one, Herslev Bryghus delivers the most delicious specialty brews. Herslev Bryghus is a farm brewery by Roskilde Fjord, where they harvest all their grain for brewing on their own organic fields, in collaboration with other local forces in a socio-economic community. The brewery is also investing heavily in taking production and local collaboration to new heights, which we at Sinatur can only support.
