Our kitchen is driven by a love of food, a respect for craftsmanship and an in-depth knowledge of the area. Our chefs spend a good part of their working day in the forest, on the heath and at the local producers, where they bring home the very best ingredients in the kitchen. Fortunately, it is not difficult to find excellent food on our shores, and we have a network of fantastic suppliers right on our doorstep, delivering fresh goods to us every day.
This means that it is anything but unimportant food that we send out of the kitchen. We have the taste of the Jutland heath on our plates, and it is nothing short of excellent.
The stately buildings break up the green landscape with their reddish colours, and it is difficult not to be seduced by the beautiful hotel. Cozy courtyards, bright living rooms and comfortable rooms welcome you when you check in at Skarrildhus, and we guarantee a weekend full of beautiful moments.
Our buildings alternate between offering grand and intimate settings, while the surroundings are completely and utterly unique. We are surrounded by old trees, and the hotel's garden is a large park, where Karstoft Å sneaks through before it joins Skjern Å a few hundred meters from here. Here is peace and quiet, and you get a flora and fauna right outside the door that you will not find anywhere else.
