That is why Skarrildhus Sinatur Hotel & Konference offers new heights for outdoor meeting facilitation with their new meeting concept: Nature meetings in a new unique setting - it all takes place in the open air in the beautiful forest and park that surrounds the hotel.

Here, the meetings will offer an authentic and delicious atmosphere, where nature's many scents and sounds will set the framework for your meeting day.

Why meetings in nature?

Meetings in nature are not just a change of scene that changes the framework for your meeting. How does it work?

When you book an outdoor meeting at Skarrildhus, you get:

A complete package where we have everything ready and prepared for you. (Both practical and outdoor catering)
Guidance and inspiration for the meeting leader/facilitator on how to prepare as well as sparring with us about it
Access to our outdoor meeting room 'Basecamp', a covered outdoor meeting room that you can return to during the day. Basecamp is your 'cave' and equipped with comfortable chairs (with warm sheepskin and blankets)
Access to toilet facilities and the possibility of storing bags and other personal belongings in a locked room.

Once you have booked, we will send material to your meeting leader/facilitator, with inspiration and guidance on how to conduct a meeting in nature. Below is a map of the area with the different outdoor spaces: Mindehøjen, Vandhullet, Campfire Site, Cave, Forest Bubbles, Basecamp and other exciting areas that can be used.

We encourage the meeting leader/facilitator to visit us prior to the meeting, and go through the different areas as well as give ideas on how to prepare.

It is also an advantage if the meeting leader arrives 1-2 hours before the meeting starts.
It is a good idea that the participants are practically dressed, best of all clothes in 'layers' so that you can put on/take off according to the weather and warm footwear.

We are easily accessible

Even though we are located in the middle of the Jutland heath, we are still close to the motorway network and the larger central Jutland towns. Skarrildhus is about 20 minutes from Herning and the Central Jutland Motorway, and Aarhus can be reached in about an hour, while the trip to Vejle takes about 45 minutes.
