According to the Passport Order, Danish guests are required to be registered with full name, date of birth and place of residence. The hotel requires photo documentation for the identity details.

Therefore, we need the following from you as a Danish citizen:

Danish citizens must present photo ID upon check-in. It doesn't have to be a passport, it can also be a driver's license.
For foreign nationals, the following applies:
In Executive Order no. 1206 of 23 August 2022 on foreign nationals' access to Denmark (the Executive Order on Aliens), it is stated in section 36 that the hotel operator, in accordance with the rules of the Personal Data Act, must keep a register of all arriving foreign guests.
Therefore, we must use the following from you as a foreign citizen:
Full name
Birthdate
Nationality
Permanent residence
Arrival date
Departure date (must be registered at check-out)
Type and number of passport or other travel document
Please note, however, that Nordic citizens from a Nordic country other than Denmark are exempt from being in possession of a passport or other travel document when staying in Denmark and when leaving Denmark for another Nordic country. Nordic citizens can prove their identity by presenting other personal documents such as a driver's license and health insurance card. Registration of the above-mentioned information takes place by the foreign national personally confirming the accuracy of the information by signing a form or similar. The hotel must also confirm by its signature or company stamp that the information is correct.
Special information about you as an overnight guest

Nordic citizens can identify themselves by presenting other personal documents such as a driver's license and health insurance card. The registration of the above information takes place by the foreigner personally confirming the accuracy of the information by signing a form or similar. The hotel must also confirm that the information is correct by signing or stamping with the company seal.
