Dine near the water's edge in our restaurant

With huge panoramic windows and a unique location on the beach, the experience in the restaurant at Storebælt Sinatur Hotel & Konference starts as soon as you step into the room.
Here you sit in the front row to the beach, wildlife and the 18-kilometre-long bridge that connects Funen and Zealand.

In our atmospheric restaurant, you can enjoy delicious dishes prepared by our skilled chefs, who take great pride in using the season's fresh ingredients.
In addition, we always take allergies into account, so you can still experience gastronomy in a class of its own.

If you want to dine in the restaurant, you must book a table in advance, otherwise we cannot guarantee that we have a table available on the day.

The restaurant is open Monday to Saturday.
We reserve the right to allow the restaurant to be fully booked and some closed days.
On Sundays, the hotel closes after breakfast.

Menu

Menu

Our chefs take great pride in putting together our menus to suit the seasons and the season's fresh ingredients. Although our food is made on nature's terms, they must of course also match your premises. If you have any allergens or special dietary requirements that we need to take into account, you are more than welcome to contact us prior to your stay. In addition, we always have vegetarian or vegan alternatives to the dishes on our menu.

Every day we present the 4-course menu of the day.
Our concept to reduce food waste and our climate footprint as much as possible, means that it is not possible to choose from an ala carte card.

Food with meaning

Food with meaning

Shopping locally is a matter close to our hearts, because we have responsibility as a deliberator for everything we do in Sinatur. In addition, we have the Organic Cuisine Label in silver. Our exotic ingredients are limited to coffee and citrus fruits, because almost everything else we can replace with our fresh, local ingredients from the top shelf.

Therefore, we hope you will help taste East Funen with an open mind.

Local ingredients

All the food is made from scratch and our menu always reflects the changing seasons. The agricultural soil on East Funen is good and rich and we benefit from that - because it, we believe, can be seen and tasted on our plates. We source world-class ingredients right outside the front door and we even grow some of our ingredients ourselves in our herb and vegetable garden.

In a kitchen that also serves breakfast and lunch, good bread means a lot. And good bread starts with good flour, which we pick up at Kragegaarden near Havndrup on Central Funen. Here, the flour is ground at the old-fashioned stone mill, which preserves the qualities of the grain, so we can serve bread that is full of vitamins, proteins and fibre.

We get most of our vegetables and potatoes from the neighbors at Rosilde Højgård, who are putting the finishing touches on their ambitious organic conversion. We know the farmer well and we know that we get organic products in a class of their own when he delivers everything from different potato and cabbage varieties, beets, peas, strawberries, onions, celeriac and apples. When it is in season, that is.
