Our bar on the ground floor is both sought after and definitely worth a visit. However, we cannot always guarantee you a seat, as the bar may be reserved for parties.
In continuation of our bar, you will find cozy activity rooms with both billiards, table tennis and darts when you need a fun break.
Our 9 meeting rooms are all bright and spacious and equipped with the latest AV equipment and everything you will need during a day away from the office. We have a maximum capacity of 150 people and are happy to provide good, different input for fun break activities.
Who says meetings have to take place indoors? At Gl. Avernæs, you have ample opportunity to move out into our outdoor auditorium if you need some fresh air and room for new thoughts during the day.
Our 73 rooms are all newly renovated and cosily decorated with a touch of seaside hotel atmosphere. The rooms vary in size depending on the category and several of them have a view of our beautiful park.
Enjoy a cozy moment in our charming orangery in the park, from where you have the most beautiful view of the water.
Rent a Sinatur bike and set off to explore our scenic surroundings, or cycle all the way out to Helnæs, which offers a beautiful bike ride with water on all sides. As a guest at Gl. Avernæs, you can rent both mountain bikes and our own city bike for only DKK 75 per day.
Remember your training clothes if you are planning a visit to Gl. Avernæs. In addition to beautiful running and cycling routes, we also have our own outdoor gym, where you are guaranteed to get sweat on your forehead.
